The Women at Ground Zero Scholarship Fund
Donate to the Fund
The Women at Ground Zero Scholarship Fund provides three $700 scholarships per year to students enrolled in the Public Safety Training Center at Santa Rosa Junior College in Northern California. The funds are designated for textbooks, uniforms, and safety gear.
If you would like to make a tax-deductible contribution to the fund, visit the SRJC Foundation or make your check payable to “SRJC Foundation” and mail to the address below. Be sure to designate your contribution to the “Women at Ground Zero Scholarship Fund” by noting it on your check:

Apply for a Scholarship
Students attending the Public Safety Training Center at Santa Rosa Junior College may apply for a scholarship online. For more information, contact the Santa Rosa Junior College Scholarship Office at (707) 527-4740.
Minimum eligibility requirements to receive a scholarship:
1) Major/Career Goal – Public Safety Program – Enrolled in Fire Academy, Police Academy or Paramedic Training Academy
2) GPA recommended to be at least 2.5
3) Preference given to female applicants
4) Preference given to students continuing their education at SRJC (as opposed to transferring to a four-year institution)
5) Award to be used for tuition, books, uniforms, equipment, gear
