The Healing Power of Telling Your Story
Upcoming Writing Events
What stories are you ready to tell? What’s stirring beneath the surface of your busy day-to-day world? How are you healing and growing yourself? Here you’ll find many opportunities to slow down, check in with yourself, and get current with your present life as you write in circle with other women.
Ongoing Writing Practice
Writing practice is a powerful path to healing, self-discovery, and spiritual growth. Having guidance, support, and companionship for your ongoing practice can make it more enjoyable and fulfilling. Here are several helpful ways to keep your writing practice alive, either on your own, or in a supportive community of women.
Women’s Writing Retreats
Take a vacation from your thinking mind and drop deeper into relationship with your heart and soul. Here’s your chance to step away from daily life and sink into a long weekend of writing, resting, and re-connecting with yourself as we live and write together at a rustic cabin in the Northern California redwoods.
Individual Writing Guidance
Deepen your writing practice, explore your creativity and self-expression, write your book, or use writing and earth-based practices to find healing and balance in your life. Everyone has a distinctive voice, needs different kinds of support, and walks a unique path. It will be my honor to walk your path with you.
A Word from Susan’s Students
I love the safe circle of deep connection you create, Susan. All humans seem to crave this, but not enough actually get to soak in it like we do with you.

Thank you again for your openness and warmth in welcoming me to the circle. I went away with the closing song in my head and heart, and I felt filled with loving kindness, to be sure. I look forward to coming to more gatherings and spending more time in our supportive and encouraging circle.

I left our writing circle savoring the depth and flow of my own writing, and feeling heard and appreciated by others. Thank you, Susan, for the kinds of circles that you call. You, and they, have enriched my life.
